Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone

Located in the east of Chengdu and west of Longquan Mountain, Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone covers an area of 557 square kilometers and has a population of 1.35 million. It is an important gateway of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, as well as the host of the 31st Summer Universiade and the sixth largest automobile industry base in China. In 2021, it achieved a regional GDP of 150.4 billion yuan, ranking first among county-level administrative regions in the province for 9 consecutive years, and ranking 17th, 27th and 35th among 217 national economic development zones, top 100 regions with comprehensive strength in 2021 and top 100 regions with investment potential in 2021 respectively. It was awarded as "2021 China's Most Attractive Industrial Park for Investment". In 2021, the annual vehicle output reached 1.043 million, exceeding one million for six consecutive years, accounting for 90% of Sichuan Province and more than 95% of Chengdu.

Key industries: new energy vehicles, intelligent connected vehicles (Internet of vehicles), intelligent equipment, hydrogen energy, green environmental protection, industrial design, cultural creativity, sports and leisure will be emphasized.
