18th Western China International Fair Opens in Chengdu

On September 16, the opening ceremony of the 18th Western China International Fair (WCIF) and the 10th Western China International Cooperation Forum was held in Chengdu, Sichuan province.

The main venue of WCIF is located at the Exhibition Center of Western China International Expo City, with a planned exhibition area of 200,000 square meters. The guest of honor of the event is Singapore, the rotating chairman is Xizang Autonomous Region, and the themed city is Leshan City of Sichuan Province.

It is acknowledged that the fair has attracted more than 4,000 enterprises from 48 countries and regions, China’s 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and 21 cities (prefectures) of Sichuan Province. Meanwhile, 11 countries, including Singapore and Japan, have also set up national exhibitions at the Fair, attracting purchasers and investors from all over the world.

This year’s WCIF innovated and adopted the digital exhibition service platform, to originate the integrated model of "exhibition + live broadcast", to realize the first organic combination of online and offline channels, to achieve "cloud display", "cloud negotiation" and "cloud signing". It also upgraded and built the IP brand of “WCIF HI-GO Shopping Festival”and ensured the effectiveness of the exhibition activities.
