On July 11, Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Acting Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, met in Chengdu with guest representatives attending the Well-Known Zhejiang Entrepreneurs' Visit to Sichuan 2024.

Shi Xiaolin thanked them for their attention and support to Sichuan's development and provided a brief overview of the economic and social progress in the province. She stated that Sichuan is currently exerting every effort to implement strategic initiatives such as the development of China's western region in the new era and the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, and as a national strategic hinterland, Sichuan boasts a favorable development momentum and vast market potential. The collaboration and paired assistance between Zhejiang and Sichuan provinces, respectively located in the eastern and western parts of China, have strengthened the increasingly profound sentiments between the people of the two provinces in the new era and also created a wider platform for Zhejiang businesses to thrive in Sichuan. It is hoped that the extensive Zhejiang business community will continue the "Four Thousand Spirit" and actively engage with Sichuan in various cooperation opportunities, such as developing new quality productive forces, promoting sci-tech innovation, building a modern industrial system, advancing rural revitalization and urban-rural integration, expanding high-level opening up, and strengthening ecological civilization construction, focus on the application of scientific research achievements, industrial transformation and upgrading, and the creation of application scenarios, carry out more practical exchanges and cooperation, and lead more upstream and downstream supporting enterprises in the industrial and supply chains to develop in Sichuan, achieving success in aligning with the country's overall strategies and development while growing and thriving in promoting the high-quality development of Sichuan. We will foster a world-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized, provide favorable conditions for enterprise development, and support Zhejiang businesses in their investment endeavors, aiming to generate mutually beneficial growth.

Nan Cunhui, Chairman of the Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce, President of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs, and Chairman of the Chint Group, along with other attending guests, expressed their gratitude for the robust support and assistance extended by the Party committees and governments at all levels in Sichuan. They voiced their intention to strengthen communication and collaboration with relevant cities (prefectures), enterprises, universities and research institutes, pursue more extensive collaboration across various domains, and facilitate the realization of additional high-quality projects.
