On May 15, the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the China Development Bank (CDB) signed a memorandum of cooperation in Chengdu to jointly promote the high-quality development of Sichuan. Huang Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, and Tan Jiong, President of the CDB, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the signing of the agreement.

At the signing ceremony, Vice Governor Zuo Yongxiang of Sichuan Province and Executive Vice President Zhang Hui of the CDB signed the memorandum of cooperation on behalf of their respective sides. According to the agreement, both sides will adhere to the principles of "mutual support, common development, compliance operations, and win-win cooperation," focus on high-quality development as their primary task, and implement the strategic plan of "synchronized development of new industrialization, information technology application, urbanization, and agricultural modernization, urban-rural integration, and common prosperity of five zones." Both sides will fully leverage Sichuan Province's advantages in organizational coordination and resource integration, along with the CDB's expertise in mid- and long-term investment and financing comprehensive services, focus on key areas such as infrastructure development, regional coordinated development, modern industrial system construction, digital economy advancement, high-level scientific and technological self-reliance, urban-rural integration, green ecological development, and the construction of an inland opening-up highland, further deepen all-round cooperation, and accelerate the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces in Sichuan Province. Through the cooperation, both sides aim to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of financial services for supporting the real economy, jointly promote high-quality economic and social development in Sichuan, and create a market-oriented government-bank cooperation model.

Zeng Qing, Secretary-General of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, presided over the signing ceremony. Individuals who attended the event included persons in charge of the CDB, including its Chief Business Officer Liu Peiyong, and leading officials from relevant provincial departments.
