Jiuzhai Valley National Park Opened to Fully Independent Travelers

  On the evening of November 28, Jiuzhai Valley National Park Administration released the Supplementary Notice on the Opening of Some areas in Jiuzhai Valley National Park (Trial Operation) on its official website. According to the supplementary notice, Jiuzhai Valley National Park will be opened to fully independent travelers as of the releasing date based on its post-disaster restoration and reconstruction and trial operation.

  In order to ensure the safety of tourists and their touring experience, the maximum number of daily tourist receipts in the open areas of Jiuzhai Valley National Park has been increased from 8,000 to 20,000. The opening hours and areas of Jiuzhai Valley National Park are restricted, which means Jiuzhai Valley National Park is open to the public from 8:30 to 17:00 a.m. every day, and tourists can visit the open areas which account for 85% of park area, such as Zharu Temple in Zharu Gully, Shuzheng Gully (except the Sparkling Lake), Rize Gully (between Nuorilang and Five-flower Lake), Zechawa Gully, etc.

  After two years of post-disaster reconstruction, most areas of Jiuzhai Valley National Park have been ready for re-opening to the public, and part of its landscape has resumed opening to the public since September 27 this year (trial operation). At present, the ticket for Jiuzhai Valley National Park is priced as the off-season price at RMB 80 per person, and the ticket for sightseeing bus is priced at RMB 80 per person. Both tickets need to be pre-purchased through the real-name system on the website of abatour, so no ticket window is set at the entrance of Jiuzhai Valley National Park.
