On June 21, Suining Collaborative Reform
Area of China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone was unveiled. In the next
three to five years, Suining Collaborative Reform Area aims to develop
itself into a demonstration area for open and green development and into
an economic development demonstration area based on a national
land-port logistics hub, promote the coordinated development of adjacent
regions of Suining City, Sichuan and Tongnan District, Chongqing, and
explore Suining's experience that can be replicated and promoted.
With a planned implementation area of
197.8 square kilometers, Suining Collaborative Reform Area consists of
Suining Economic and Technological Development Zone, Suining Hi-tech
Industrial Development Zone, and Suining Hi-tech Industrial Development
Zone in Chuanshan District. The three areas will mainly take charge of
the five key tasks including the coordinated development of adjacent
regions of Suining City, Sichuan and Tongnan District, Chongqing.
Previously, the Overall
Plan for the Construction of Five Collaborative Reform Areas of China
(Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Mianyang and Other Places was
issued, specifying that Mianyang, Suining, Guang'an, Dazhou, and Chengdu
economic and technological development zones build collaborative reform
areas of China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
According to a relevant official from
the Suining Bureau of Commerce, Suining will assign great importance to
and beef up efforts on the implementation work. Bearing in mind the
overall construction requirements of China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade
Zone and the task of improving the business environment and combining
the "negative list and responsibility systems", it will formulate and
implement an annual action plan. Meanwhile, it will research and
formulate policies and measures to support the innovative development of
foreign trade, and ensure solid progress in reform and innovation. |
