On October 18, Chengdu Customs District P.R.China released Sichuan's
foreign trade data for the first three quarters of this year. In this
period, the total value of import and export of goods trade in the
province came to 669.21 billion yuan, ranking eighth in the country, an
increase of 14.4% over the same period last year and 38.8% over the same
period in 2019. Among them, the import and export, export, and import
values in September all hit a monthly record high. In the first three
quarters, Sichuan's exports totaled 391.26 billion yuan, up 18.1% year
on year and 42.8% compared to the same period in 2019. Imports amounted
to 277.95 billion yuan, up 9.4% and 33.6%. The growth rate of exports
was nearly twice that of imports. |
